     Dear friends, May I have your attention, please? Now I’d like to share my opinions about food waste.

     There is no denying that food waste has become a serious problem on campus.  we can see some students dumping leftovers without feeling guilty. So it is high time to call for an end to it.

     The reasons are as follows: In the first place, the bad habit of being wasteful will have a bad influence on our own character building. Secondly, it adds financial burden to our parents. Last but not least, not only does it exhaust the world’s limited natural resources, it can also contribute to global warming.

     In my opinion, it is everybody’s business to fight with it. On one hand, we should start it with ourselves to save food. For instance, do not order too much; pack up the leftovers; don't be picky about food. On the other hand, we can persuade others to join the fight with us.

     Tough and big as the task is, I’m sure, with everyone doing his bit, we will change the present situation for the better.
