Whether doing many English exercises is necessary or not

     It is very important to do English exercises in learning English. We can find out what we do not understand, widen our knowledge, and get good marks in tests by doing English exercises. But some other students don' t think so. They think doing a lot of exercises will not only take much time but also make them very tired. So they will have no time to do what they like. As a Grade 9 student, I think that it is unnecessary to do many exercises in improving English. And it is necessary and helpful to do some suitable exercises to review what we have learned. Most important is that we should pay attention to develop our ability of using English freely in oral or writing English. Therefore, We should practice more listening, speaking, reading and writing in addition to basic language knowledge we must grasp in our daily study. Good language skills can help us to improve our English and get high marks in English examinations.
